Is it just me?

Or do these quotes from two stories on the BBC website today say so much about the world we live in.....

Richard Branson calls for review of West Coast Mainline rail franchise award....

"His campaign to have the decision reviewed has been backed by businessman Lord Sugar, TV chef Jamie Oliver and the double Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah."

LOCOG accused of discrimination by making wheelchair users book tickets for the Paralympic games via a  Premium rate phone line...

Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt said...

"What we're doing is more than has been done before. You are picking on one thing we're not doing, but actually, overall, we have done more in this Paralympics organisation for disabled people because we want them to feel part of it."

Should mold their shit in little balls.
And those who read these lines of wit
Should eat these little balls of shit.

Picking The Grapes - One Year On...

The local people whipped themselves into a mold of cruelty.
Then they formed units, squads, and armed them
- armed them with clubs, with gas, with guns.
We own the country.
We can't let these Okies get out of hand.
And the men who were armed did not own the land,
but they thought they did.
And the clerks who drilled at night owned nothing,
and the little storekeepers possessed only a drawerful of debts.
But even a debt is something,
even a job is something.

...And the companies, the banks
worked at their own doom
and they did not know it.
